1. Virtual culinary demonstrations
You can request an individual virtual classroom presentation by reaching out to Admissions Appointment Setter, Tara Kalivas, to schedule a visit at tara.kalivas@jwu.edu. Please include your high school name and location when reaching out so we can better assist you.
2. In-person culinary demonstrations
Our demonstrators can visit your classroom in accordance with university, state, local and school-issued guidelines. Reach out to Admissions Appointment Setter, Tara Kalivas, to schedule a visit at tara.kalivas@jwu.edu. Please include your high school name and location when reaching out so we can better assist you.
3. Summer 2024 Food Innovation Educator Summit
Designed exclusively for culinary educators like you, ¸£ÀûÊÓƵ offers this hands-on, two-day summer programming. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to update yours skills and encounter new methods and ideas you can bring back to your students.

Our culinary arts, baking and pastry, and hospitality management faculty can provide support in a multitude of areas including lesson planning, skill development, recipe development and competition assistance. 3. Early Enrollment Programs
Students can save time and money by simultaneously completing their senior year in high school and enrolling as a freshman ¸£ÀûÊÓƵ, all while still taking part in high school activities. Learn more about ¸£ÀûÊÓƵ’s Early Enrollment.
4. College Credit
- ¸£ÀûÊÓƵ will give transfer credit for Advanced Placement (AP) exams with a score of 3 or better (and a passing grade).
- Students transferring from other colleges may be eligible for course credit.

Students participating in DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, SkillsUSA, BPA, JA, FFA, TSA, and HOSA and other Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) are able to continue that interest at ¸£ÀûÊÓƵ. Not only can students participate in these organizations at the collegiate level, but they may also be eligible for scholarships based on their high school activities. 9. How to Finance a ¸£ÀûÊÓƵ Education
Student Financial Services, part of our Student Academic & Financial Services team, helps students and their families create a plan to pay for college by providing each student with a financial planning representative from Day 1.
